About Rainbow Robs

Firstly, I am a mum to a wonderful son who was diagnosed with Autism aged 4 years old. He has since been diagnosed with Dyspraxia & Sensory Processing Disorder. We have been on one hell of a journey but have learnt so much along the way.

I am also a qualified teacher with a degree in early childhood studies. I have worked in a variety of settings such as pre-school, nurseries, children's centres and primary schools.
All my items are designed and handmade by myself.
When I set up Rainbow Robs in 2019, I made and sold a handful of items that I had used for my own son and those that I had made for children I had worked with in the past. I am now entering my third year of Rainbow Robs and my product base has grown massively.
I regularly get requests to make specific items for children and young people with Autism and other additional needs, which I have added to my shop overtime. My items are also often purchased for adults who have had strokes or have dementia and struggle to communicate.
I am by no means an expert but I have learned a great deal about Autism mostly through my son, but also through all the other wonderful children and adults that I have been lucky enough to work with over the years.
